Locks of Landon

Dane, my 1st son asked me to start a blog about my family..and I had the hardest time coming up with just a TITLE.. I hate making decisions. But I thought that over the last 2.5 years the thing that comes up ALLLL the time is Landons hair.. yes with all the important events going on in the world.. everybody wants me to cut Landons hair.. real bad. BUT there are people out there that LOVE his hair. I have wanted to cut it a few times. I really wanted to take him to Disney to get it done on Main St. I planned it out for his 1st haircut and told him about it and he got real excited, but it fell through. I felt like the biggest schmuck! It sucks to be poor. I tried again and it failed again. They have the coolest deal, its only 14 bucks to get a cut, Mickey ear with 'My 1st haircut' stitched on it, and a box for the locks. I REALLY wish I could still do that for him. He's SUCH a great kid that he deserves to go to Disney, but funds wont allow. Then People have asked me if I was donating his hair to Locks of Love, but its babyfine hair and I have adored his curls for so long that I wanted to keep them, and I dont want his hair to grow THAT long before I cut it. SO, this week I was presented with the opportunity to attend a fundraiser at a salon for my nieces friend. I thought,, HEY I could collect donations from the people who really want me to cut Landons hair and donate to event, which is for a girl with Cancer. BUT its on a Sunday and I have plans to go to my nephews Baptism and afterparty. I was going to do both, but NOBODY was taking me seriously! and Im not going to cut Landons hair for a few bucks, after thinking about it, I really like this idea! I am thinking of looking for a Salon that does kid cuts in this area that will do his haircut and donate the money I can raise to Charity! That way, its a win win situation. Now to get started and find out how to do this. Since I am doing this on spur of the moment i dont have a great pic of Landons hair at its best..haha,, but I DO have a MILLION pix of him.. I'll just grab my memory card out of my camera and see what I have...
